I have seen Japanese needle point snails, Japanese trapdoor snails, etc. offered on line, are theese the same thing as a Malaysian trumpet snail? the descriptions match, so I was curious, partly because I haven't found anyone selling Malaysian trumpet snails.

Not the same

Trapdoor snails sold for ponds are much much larger and round. I dont' know what a needle point is.

Are you looking for MTS? I've got some. I sell them pretty often. i also have plants and dechlorinator for sale.

PM me.

Thanks,, RTR,
have you tried or do you see any problem with MTS's in an OERFUG set-up. my gravel is thin in spots but probably averages close to an inch and has some thicker places for my incoming Dempsey's

Thanks again, I bought some more plants today, and when I put them in my tank, I had an MTS roll out of the roots. these are cool little girls (IT's????) I watched it for all of the 2 minutes it took it to dissapear into my gravel. Also the LFS that I got it from doesn't charge for any snail smaller than a ramshorn, and offered to give me a starter culture of anything I wanted so my next trip in I'm going to go digging and get a few more MTS's. I figure the plant snails will go pretty quickly when the Dempsey's get in the tank. I've always wanted little creature's to enhance my fish tanks, but have heard so many horrer stories in the past that I avoided snails. Education makes things so much more fun.
