Hmm, how long has it been since you changed your water ?
What I would do is do a 50 % water change and change your carbon in your filter, carbon cleans away any unwanted smell.

phenols in the water cause the stink.
increased aeration will rid the tank of it. You might be overfeeding or not have enough filtration.

Rump, how big is your tank and what do you have for filtration ?

I have a 55 gallon with a whisper power filter 5. I have an air pump that blows bubbles out of a peice of bogwood. Should I change my water? My biobags?

Whisper Power Filter 5 ? If my memory serves me well that's not enough filtration for a 55 gal, if I am wrong correct me please.
For now I would change my water 50 % and change your biobags...

Whisper power 5 for a 55 gal is not nearly enough filtration. Look for dead fish do a 50% water change and add carbon plus buy another filter.

I would get a Emperor 280, there nice filter nicely made and have extra storage for more carbon, or if you perfer to go the cheaper way buy getting a Aqua Clear, or going canister ?

the box says the power filter 5 is enough for a 90 gallon, also there is no dead fish

Give it more oxygen, to oxidize skunky phenols and mercaptans. Put a pencil stub under one corner of the glass top. Drop the water level to get more splash...
Step up those partial water changes. Cut the flakes to a third till there's no odor...

Erm - what fish have you got in here? It's not the collection you describe in the "Are these fish compatible" thread is it?

I thought a tank needs those air fresheners:D ,
my tank always smells like fish, although nothing is dead.

Rump, do you have sand substrate? If you do, could be an anaerobic pocket in there ... I've heard they smell really bad. Hope that's not it, because the stuff in the pocket would be bad for your fish.
