I have a 30 gal tank with an eclipse 2 hood. The lighting is 10000k bulb and a marine-glo 15w actinic bulb. The fliter is built in and I am loaded with a nice setup of live rock, and crushed coral with live sand on top of it. Will i need a carbon filter in the filter, or will it be allright without it? What Fish would be suitable in a tank of this size? I looking for smaller fish, like gobies, pseudos, clowns, and the like. :D Thanks for your help...you guys rock!

Carbon has its uses, like dealing with toxins from soft corals or yellow stuff in the water, but it's not really necessary in a FOWLR tank.

I am always a big fan of a pair of clowns in a tank that size. Smaller species like ocellaris, percula or skunks, or even mid-size species like tomatoes will be great. Buy two babies, and you should end up with a pair.

But I like pseudochromis and gobies, too.
