i am interested in getting a bichir for my 55 gallon tank. I'm going to getting rid of my fish today. I want to keep the bichir and some sort of cichlid, probably a uro. What would be a good bichir that would not outgrow the tank and is cheap.
My suggestion is the delhezi or palmas. Best of luck! Oops the delhezi is pretty pricey so I guess the palmas if you can find one.

Thanks for the info. I called my LFS to see if they would take my fish, but rejected it. I guess i'm gonna have to find another way to get rid of my fish. If you're interested email me at blee358@aol.com
