cory trouble

my albino cory has his eyes pushing right out of his head. I'm not sure but is this pop eye? what causes it and how is it treated? The water is fine all the other fishs are ok. any ideas

I recently treated my popeye problem (a gourami) with maracyn 2 tablets. Seemed to work fine. Follw the instructions exactly. I also didn't feed for the duration of the treatment (5-6 days) and left the lights off as well.

I've never seen a fish completely recover from pop eye. Get him out of the tank before it spreads to the other fish. The only thing to do is flush that cory.

Really because my gourami has been doing fine for well over a month since I treated him, Tando, I mean Ozark.

guess I was too late in spotting the pop eye, he only got worse, even with meds. Gave him the flush

Sorry for your loss downloader. BTW, most often times pop eye is due to bad water quality so I would re check your water quality to ensure it doesn't happen to any other fish. Hope this helps.

thanks, re-checked waters fine, even got baby neons in the same tank. No trouble with other fish. his buddy another cory is fine too.
