As I was doing my 25% water change tonight in my sick tank. One of my plecos came an started sucking on my hand as I was draining the water out. He wouldn't leave me alone after that. He would swim to a near by plant and if I stuck out a finger he would quickly swim back to me and sit on my hand for a while. I figured it was probably a one time thing. I just went downstairs to check on the tank and I decided to see if he would do it again. I put my hand in and he came right over. Do I have a new best friend or is there some kind of scientic explanation. No, I am not coated in algae.:)

You are probably right Pinballqueen. I just gave them the next antibiotic treatment, no dead fish for 24 hours!!. He came right over again. Unfortunately I am allergic to antibiotics so I couldn't stick my hand in the tank this time. I think he likes me. I will say it is a weird feeling. My plecos are both still really small. They are only about 2 inches long.:D

good grief. If this becomes a habit and he gets to big I could lose a finger. Ok. Maybe I won't be sticking my hand in the fish tank anymore. I don't want to become one of those 6:00 news stories. You know the ones that start "Hey, now this lady is really stupid....":p
