Taking Gravel from an established tank

Hey guys!
Just another one of those "cycling" questions

Recently I took a good deal of gravel from my established 110 aquarium and put it into my 10 gallon tank

Does this speed up cycling?

Yes, that should be quite helpful since the bacteria you are wanting attach to surfaces.

yep just remember to add ammonia to the tank, or fish or fish food, to feed the bacteria or else it will die.

should speed the cycle up to about a week.... if that.
