Ok, so I bought a Red Sea Fe test kit. (actually it comes in the Plant Lab kit, which has CO2 test also - 20 bucks).
I did exactly what the directions said and the water stayed crystal clear (its supposed to start out blue and go to grey and eventually red).
I did this three times and still zip. No color whatsoever.
Then I tried putting in a few drops of the Flora Fe Supplement sample that comes with the kit (I put it in the in test tube, with the reagents). The water still stayed clear - no change whatsoever. Then I tried adding a few drops of Seachem Flourish Iron. Still no change.
What the H is up with this $20. test kit I paid for. Anybody else have this Kit?

In saltwater circles Read Sea test kits have a reputation as being from the bottom of the barrel.
I plunked down over $70 for a Red Sea Reef Kit only to have to replace it because the reagents did not react at all. Sorry.
