Advice needed on damaged Java Fern leaves (photo included)

My newly introduced Java fern got two new leaves, but the tips seem somewhat "damaged" or unhealthy.

Is this some nutrient deficiency (strange, because I have planty of plants in the tank and all are great) or something else (maybe because it's still new?). I know that Microsorum pteropus is a hardy plant... Thanks

The tips of new java fern leaves are a darkish almost transparent color. The green goes on through to the tip as they age.

the dark part is the part that is still lengthening, so a normal part of how your fern grows
