ok for levels to drop for a day or 2?

ok iv got my dosing down pretty much, but im wondering if its ok for levels to fall for a day or 2,
ie
10ppm nitrate on wed. then if i do a water change on sat. is it ok if my nitrate levels are 2~ ppm on friday..

dont know if its worth it to dose on friday just to redose on sat when i change my water(my water: 0 ppm)

Do you mean that it stays at 10ppm through wed. and then drops to 2 by fri.?

Say i dose on wed. then on thur its 6ish, then on fri its 2ppm.

hopefully that makes sense

im planning to dose every other day, but i wana keep water changes on sat.
 
What this means is that your plants are using the P, which is good. The idea is to maintain 5 - 10ppm, so yes it's a good idea to dose as needed to maintain content.
