Colonial Anemone?

I have an anemone the size of a goflball that just split into 2 a day ago, and appears to be in the process of splitting again.

Do Colonial Anemone's stay a small size, splitting off once they get large enough, or will some keep it together, and grow large?

Depends on the species. Most do not achieve a huge size--I can't think of one that will get very large, other than discomas, and they aren't really colonial.
