I have red alge growing all over the sand in my tank and now starting to grow on some of my live rock. My tank is a reef with a few polyps, mushrooms and other corals what can i use to get rid of this pest with out hurting my tank. The tank has been up for 6 months now and this problem just started about two weeks ago.
