I was thinking about getting a 6 gallon tank to use as a frog tank. I had the idea that I could use it as a quarantine tank for new fish as well. Does anyone know of a disease or parasite that can go between frog and fish? Also, when I get the new tank, I am guessing that I can put some frogs in it immediatly without cycling it. Is that correct?

A frog tank will need to be cycled just as a fish tank is--the frogs produce ammonia, too. Make sure you get dwarf frogs--the clawed african frogs will get much too big for such a small tank.
I would not use the tank for quarantine. While there are not many parasties that will go between the frogs and any fish, the medications that may be needed to treat the fish will not be suitable or good for the frogs.
