Do those little disolvable blocks of food work in s.w. tanks?

They won't even miss you for 3 days. You would probably come back to a tankful of algae if you used one of those blocks.
You should be fine with no feedings. I regularly leave my tank for 3-4 days at a time and have never suffered any losses.
