Well, my loach just couldnt fight off an ich infection
He was doing OK during the treatment, but I came home last night to a dead loach.
And he was all scraped up, probably from trying to get the ich off of him.
Poor guy.......makes me sad. I was doing my best to treat him for the disease, but I read up and now know that they are indeed quite sensative to ich.
Awww, and he was my little fishy too.....
Suppose I gotta move on, nothin i can do now
*sigh*

Sorry about your loach. :( That stinks.

Being a scale-less fish, they are susceptible to ich, and the usual ich treatments can harm them (the medicine treatments, not salt/heat treatments).

There may be something u can do to prevent this in the future

i have two questions

how many clowns were there*
Did u use ICH medication for scaleless fish*

IF you used ICH medication,, i strongly dont recomend that as clowns are very sensitive to chemicals. If it happens again ive heard to Evlevate tank temprature, and add a table spoon of salt every3-4 hours for each gallon.

if you were doing that...well..im useless;)

I was treating him using meds.
He was doing fine, active and everything
THen one day he was gone for a bit
re-appeared with a MASSIVE amount of spots
So I figured I should yank him and treat him seperately
and it was working, but I think it was just too late.
He was prolly too stressed, too hungry, too "lifeless" so to speak for even the meds to help.
On the plus side, a betta that I was treating has since become way more active.
