I am getting a 72-gallon bowfront with a 45-gallon sump. We live on the 2nd floor of an apartment building which is like a condo. Therefore, the floor is NOT concrete.

I have a few concerns that this will be too heavy. The tank is place in a "nook" off the living room. It will be in the corner of two load-bearing walls and another load-bearing wall will be 10 feet away opposite it.

How can I know for sure? Is there someplace I can go that calculate weight for tanks, etc.?

You should be just fine...especially since it will be near load bearing walls. I've got a 100g w/40g sump on the third floor of my creaky old apartment building...no concrete here either. It's been there for more than two years with no problems at all. Saltwater weighs slightly less than 8.5 pounds per gallon, so with rock, sand, etc., figure about 10 pounds of weight per gallon.
