I'm wondering about a Fumanchu Lionfish. I really want to get one but im worried about it eating my hermits. I was looking into getting a small one. I just wondering if anyone had any info on behavior and other things of that nature.

Most lions will eat anything that can fit into their mouths. They have pretty big mouths to. I'm not sure about the fumanchu ," or any lions for that matter", when it come to your inverts. Some of them will completely ignore your inverts and some of them will eat them like candy. It is IMO,"please correct me if I'm wrong", impossible to say for sure though until it's too late. About the only things that can be kept with the assurance that your lion won't eat them are critters of at least 1/2 of the lion's body length. I don't know of any genera of lions that aren't like this but, someone else may.

I wouldn't be too concerned about your Fu Manchu and inverts. They can be quite fussy when it comes to eating and should only go for suitable sized fish. My zebra lion (which is a dwarf like the Fu Manchu) never harms my inverts and will go days without eating waiting for me to offer the right sized food. On that note, they really only need to be fed every third day. I use small frozen whole baitfish, which is supposed to be much healthier than using live freshwater feeders which have high fat contents.
