I've been dying to know for the last couple weeks once I discovered these things. Can anybody identify these yellow pods that are stuck under the LR? They're almost in the center of the pic.

They're tunicates. Little filter feeding buggers. It will be interesting to see how yours do. I had a bunch like them at first, but the limpets ate them.

Interesting. I tried very hard to make sure we got all the limpets off. Hopefully we got them all.

Thanks for the help, Dave.

You're welcome. It keeps me out of trouble.

It was a hard decision to evict the limpets from my tank. They were great herbivores, but they really liked the sponges and liked to taste the soft corals.
