my Convicts had fry, and....

They are in a 10g right now!! Ya, ya I know.... But I just have them there temp while I get my 29g up and running. I can't put them in my bigger tank that I already have cause everything/everyone will get destroyed. I actually rescued them from someone who was gonna flush them because they were killing all of his fish! They are the only fish in there, and last weekend, I looked in the tank on Sun morning, and there they were! Anyways, my question is what next? I want to give them away(even in a big tank, I don't want more Convicts), but how long do I have to keep them in there, etc? How soon do I need to remove them? Will any shops want to buy them? Sorry, but I have never ever had any of my fish have fry before.

Clean water and lots of food, baby brine and prepared foods, will make them grow fast. Most stores would not take them until at least an inch body size and then probably only a few. Call around but there is usually not much demand for any large quantity. Best to feed them to other fish right when they are small and perhaps save a few if you want to watch them grow.
