How about:
1 Texas
2 JD
2 Convicts
1 Common Pleco

In a 125? Would you add something else? Change the mix? What about scavengers?

I'm just looking for ideas!

yes I think it will work I had a texas with my JD and I have a convict with a JD so your idea will work And for a scavenger you can add a pictus or a 3lined cat

Thanks for all the great responses, but it looks as if the plans are going to change. "She Who Must Be Obeyed," also known as Mrs. "LongTime", saw her first adult sized black veiled Angels today. While she has not issued a degree, she has been asking a lot of questions about angels.

I feel a change a commin'.

So.....
If you have say, 8 corys, and something like a gold dust pleco, how many angels would YOU put in a 125?

I keep angels, so I am not as offended by Mrs. Longtime's suggestion.

But to keep it exciting I'd avoid domestic (black veiled angels) and put wild angels and festivums in together. They are less wimpy, active and fun to watch.

So if you feel you must go with angels, maybe that helps out abit.

IMHO

Angels are a pain in the a**. We started are fifty five as an angel tank. It now has one vailed angel. All the rest died or made each others life so misserable we took them back to the LFS. They are mean to each other and get sick at the drop of a fish net. Wild caught may be different, but tank bred are a pain.

The Discus will be moving in soon.:dance
