I have a friend who works at a water test facility, I gave him a sample of my aquarium water and these are the results:

pH - 8.32
Arsenic - .04ppm
Beryllium - 0ppm
Cadmium - 0ppm
Chromium - 0ppm
Copper - .011ppm
Lead - 0ppm
Barium - .011ppm
Nickel - .06ppm
Antimony - 0ppm
Selenium - .04ppm
Silver - .08ppm
Thallium - 0ppm
Zinc - .059ppm
Calcium - 279ppm

I know lots of this info might be overkill, but the test was free to me. I'd like to raise my calcium so I'm going to start dosing kalk this weekend. As for the rest of the data, anyone have any input at all??

PS - my nitrites, nitrates, and ammonia are still all 0!

Now thats an accurate test, most of those are trace elements that will have little to no effect on your fish or inverts (most of them are used for water purification and treatment).

You may need more than kalk to bring up your calcium. It's pretty low, and you'll be limited by the amount of Ca in saturated kalk. It won't hurt, but you may need to add something like B-Ionic as well.
