I want to get automatic feeder for feeding during vocation. Pentair Aquatics one looks very promising due to the fact that I can put different food (i.e. flakes and sinking wafers) to be drop in different time. However, in archives I was able to find recommendations only for Eheim.

Have anyone used Pentair Aquatics Automatic Feeder? Any comments about it?

Thanks,

I have the pentair aquatics feeder, my reasoning was that it used Ac power not batteries, and I have no complaints with it. I will say that I don't have the bulk feeder attachments, and don't see it would be very usefull, because I'm not sure you could regulate the amount of feed the bulk attachment delivers. I may be getting the bulk attatchment to try as I have one tank that regulation won't be as critical for ( the fish eat more than the feeder is capable of delivering in one shot)
I have no experience with the eheims, but have heard good things as feeders go.

The Eheim automatic feeders are the best, from what I have heard and seen. They can be connected to an air pump which keeps the food fresh, (or maybe I'm mixing this up with something else...but I know that they keep the food fresh, somehow.) They're just a little bit more expensive.
