I have several male guppies in my 110 gallon
However, recently, they have kept dying off because every so often, their caudal fin looks like it got bit into
I don't know if it's fin rot (their fins were fine the day before) or aggression, which i would suspect my two serpae tetras (i need to buy more of them)

My guppies are very sick now, and look liek they won't last a week

Any suggestions for preventing future deaths?

Btw: water conditions are good. stable ph, no nitrate/nitrite/ammonia

Serpaes are very nippy unless they have 5-6 of their own to school with. I had to remove a betta from my tank because the serpaes were nipping at his fins all the time.

Suggestions... get more serpaes (which you said you are going to). I don't know if I'd risk getting more guppies though, because you don't know if the serpaes will nip (even in a 5-6 or more school), until you put the guppies in there, so better safe than sorry.

I would think that fin rot would take more than a day or even two to cause significant harm to the fish.
