Stronium & Magnesium...what measure?

I haven't measured mine. The stony corals grow well, so I figure things must be OK. Are you having problems that indicate a deficiency in Sr or Mg?

I've been using Kalkwasser, but I just got a Calcium w/Stronium & Magnesium liquid.

Mog: Don't you think perhaps the stronium/magnesium is being depleted in your tank by your corals?

I don't know what it is, but my Frogspawn has doubled in size in the last 3 days since I got it from Coral Beauty. Amazing! It's even branching.

Regular water changes are enough to keep most trace elements in good supply. If stonies are growing well, there's little need to supplement, IMO.

In general, I don't dose unless I know what the levels are. I have M capricornis that are needing to be fragged often enough as it is, so I don't think they're missing anything.

Remember that, being made from dead calcareous marine organisms, kalk has some strontium. That will supplement whatever's coming in from water changes.

I went and reread Randy Holmes-Farley's article on strontium. It's a great overview, if you have a few minutes.

The last paragraph sums it up nicely.
Remember: in my aquarium without any recent strontium additions, strontium was already elevated above natural levels. I would not like to see it get any higher. Consequently, adding a supplement in the absence of knowing the strontium levels is not advisable
