Its "holy rock" i believe limestone, I havent had a problem with it changing my ph in a little over a year, but I always boil it first...so maybe thats why. Ya and Mr. Oscar is one of the more timid things in the tank, surprisingly enough!! He gets bullied by the Living Stoni cichlid thats 1/4 his size!!
