heres what ive done so far..........

got tank up and running, saltwater, and heat.

5-2l uncured live figi and tonga rock arrives and placed into tank.
5-23 25% water change
5-26 sg l024, temp 78, ammonia 0, ph 8, n2 2.0, n3 l0.
5-28 sg l024, temp 78, ammonia 0, ph 8, n2 2.0, n3 5.
6-l sg 1024, temp 78, ammonia 0, ph 8, n2 0.25, n3 0.
6-3 25% water change a few hours after argonite sand (rinsed x3 first) added to tank.

any input? is it possible to have no ammonia?

i have a huge cascade cannister filter, a l50 gal protein skimmer for a 75 gallon tank, 2 powerheads, really good circulation....

the live rock arrived in very good condition, no four oder, water never got cloudy except after moving the rock around to find permenant positions (until the fish push them around to where they want them of course)

too good to be true?

I'd challenge it with some ammonia before trusting any fish in there. Just use plain ammonia, no perfumes. Add enough that you get a reading of 1 ppm, then test again in 24 hours. If it's back down to 0, you should be okay.
