I have some small, shrimp looking organisms in my over flow filter. Are these something I should worry about? When I clean the filter I noticed them. They squirm around but are about 2-5 mm in size, so much smaller than shrimp. Could these be babies of my shrimp? Let me know. Thanks.

If they look like little fleas, they are probably amphipods. Good scavengers and will generate food for your other livestock. You might google around for amphipod or gammarus to see if they are similar.
