I have had goldfish, loaches and catfish jump out of the tank and discovered them some time later. The goldfish did that just last week, I am assuming that he was out for almost an hour (judging by the skin dryness). He is fine now. If it were me I'd add aquarium salt (if you have it), or possibly a half dose of Melafix (just to buffer any abrasions the fish might've aquired on it's misadventure).

If the water is already saline don't mess with it. The reason for adding salt to a tank with wounded fish is that it makes it harder for certain bacteria/fungi to take hold. As I said, I've had fish out of the water for longer than 20 minutes, it should be fine.

Try giving a few grandules of food to calm it down. I always do that after I distress my fish.

Just keep testing water quality each day. If there is any ammonia or nitrite at all do a water change. That will help him get better. And help to avoid all stress, as much as possible. Keeping the tank dark will help a great deal.
