Shy swordtails?
Ok, so I recently began stocking my 55 gal. (already cycled)
and its current inhabitants are:
3 swordtails, 1M 2F
1 Pl*co-2"
4 black phantom tetras, 1M, 2F, 1?
1 otocinclus(~3/4")
anyway my question is this, the first fish I put in were the swordtails and the pl*co. the pl*co after a couple minutes of adjusting to his new surroundings hid under a piece of driftwood. That should be normal though, since they're nocturnal. The swordtails, though, immediately swam into the little rock caves, 1 female in one, and the male and the other female in the other. Everybody else in the tank acts normally, but the swordtails are still hiding in the same spots, they've been there for 2 days now. And yes, they are alive. I shone a flashlight into the caves and I can see them breathing normally. They're holding their fins upright as well, and their colors are good, they just won't come out of their caves.
any ideas? I'm drawing a blank.
[EDIT] corrected title.
