cleaning the inside wall of an acrylic tank?

I have had glass tanks for a long time and my plecos's clean the inssides pretty well. Now I have an acrylic tank which is building brownish spots. My pleco is not doing its normal duties!

How shpould I go about cleaning the inside walls? :(

hey

my stepfather had an acrylic tank and that happened to him, too. All he did was wash his hands good and cleaned it with his fingers.(they also have brushes at the lfs to clean your tanks you can buy one of those)
 
If you do go with the algae scrapers that they sell, make sure theyre specified for acrylic or your aquarium will get all these nicks and scratches!
