Has anyone ever built a DIY biofall??? It seems to me that it
would be alot cheaper just to use a plastic garbage can as the
basin and " glue " a spillway rock to it. Has anyone seen this
and if so where ?

I have a different Idea ... use a plastic laundry sink. They hold a lot of media and are already plumbed with a drain - which makes for easy back washing. You can use egg crate to seperate the media layers and keep it off the bootom from the drain area...as to how to do the spill over...hmmm didn't think that far yet:D

Thanks for chiming in, TJ. I had no answer and need an idea myself for my indoor pond. Hmmmmmm... a nice square tub, surrounded by house plants... you wouldn't even know it was there!!
