Hey-

My tile is getting replaced where my 55gal tank used to be. She's in pieces now and when the tile sets up i get to put her back together. Help my out stocking her. I'm not to sure what the ph will be, but i dont think it is too outrageously of 7 or so from last time. anywho, this is what i am thinking of so far.

1.) 8 Australian Rainbow
OR
8 Boesemani Rainbow

2.) 2 Dwarf Gourami
OR
2 Blue Gourami
OR
2 Kissing Gourami

3.) 4 Chinese Algae Eater
OR
4 Octos

Well, i know there alot of OR's and it isnt quite finished. but i am just looking for a peaceful low maitnence/worrry tank to put in the living room. I dont even think the algae eaters are necassary...give me your suggestions.

Thanks!
-Luke

well, i might be wrong, but I think I have heard people say that chinese algae eaters can become agressive, you may want to try something like siamese algae eaters instead (i think thats what they are called)

what if instead you got one gourami and a fancy medium sized plec? I have heard of kissing gouramis getting nasty too.

soo...basically all the gouramis are out of the picture? Or can still try the dwarf gouramis? What else are some interesting easy fish to take of the rest of the space? thanks

so would a blue and a dwarf gourami mess with each other? I think that some tetras and a pleco will pretty much finish it off.
