70gal Suggestions?
I am seeking some advice on stocking my 70 gal tank that I recently got back from an old neighbor. It's been about 9 years since I have kept an aquarium. Picking it up next week.
Here is what I have to work with:
70g aquarium w/ canopy and lighting fixture
300w heater
2x Hagen 802 Powerheads
Fluval 404
80lbs Eco-Complete African Cichlid Substrate (Sand)
Now since its been 8years, I doubt the bulbs dont work.
As far as recommendations for stocking, I have been thinking a few of the following species. Maybe 1M and 2F of each.
Pseudotropheus zebra
Sciaenochromis ahli
Aulonocara baenschi
As far as the layout of the tank, typical setup, lots of rocks and some driftwood. Suggestions and comments are appreciated.
