Very happy. Two things I found out when building this. The sites are correct, you do need to use foam to push the water "over" the rocks. And you need water volume to push the water down the falls.

what type of foam and how have you used it.
i've just built a stream with 4 waterfalls in it and have had problems of the water going under the stones.

There are a bunch of companys that now make a foam spray in a can. Your falls and rocks should be dry. The can has a long thin tube on it to fit under the rocks so you can seal off the gaps. The foam is black and safe for the fish.
Turn on the pump, now the water can't go under the rocks so it goes over them.

I did something somewhat similar. When I put the rocks in place, I cemented them together. You can't see the cement, only the rocks and it is fantastic.
