i haven't posted here in a while due to extreme lack of time, but i wanted to show everyone my tank while i have the time.

the tank is a 65 gal AGA with Overflow

Water Flow: Mag 9 return, 4 Aquaclear 800 PH

Lighting: 400W XM 20k in Hamilton Pendant, 2 30" Actinics NO

Equipment: MTC HSA 250 Skimmer, Reef Tek Single Chamber Ca reactor, Red Sea Wavemaker, Red Sea 50 mg/h ozonizer

Others: 55 lbs LR, 4" DSB

Fish: Female Squarespot Anthias, Yasha Goby, Six Line wrasse, Bimaculatus Hog

This is an older picture and some livestock has grown and others added. I have 2 new Maxima clams, one teardrop and and ORA ultra max.

wish i had new pictures but i am 1300 miles away from my tank at Harbor Branch Oceanographic for the summer, so i can't really update at the moment.

yeah, i was tired of trying to scrape the glass constantly, so i just let it go. it looks kinda neat.
 
the calcium reactor was definitely one of the biggest helps for the system. i used to have to add kent turbo Ca every other day then test the next day to make sure that the levels are acceptable. plus i used to drip kalk to keep up the alk which was a huge pain. once the reactor was online i had to fiddle with it for about 2 weeks to get it operating properly and now it keeps my Ca at 480 and alk at like 10 so i have no problem with any of that now. i highly reccommend them, but they are a somewhat high initial investment.
