The 115 has an oerfug, an ac 500, and an emporer 400.
The 15g has a penguin 125, and an oerfug
The 10 has an

and i use a rio 2700 for the sump pump.

right now, I only have a aqua clear 300 on my 72 gallon but it does a good job. I will probally get another 300 if I get any more fish though.

12" * 12" Reverse Flow Under Gravel Filter w/ Fluval 1 Plus sponge prefilter
Vortex "Freedom" diatom filter (occasional use)

*daveedka* What is a "oerfug"?

I have an AC 500 an AC 150 on my 55, and a millenium 200 on my bare 10g hospital/Q/fry grow-out tank. I'm really kind of over-filtered on the 55 because it's fairly under-stocked, with 5 cory cats, 4 small black phantom tetras, 3 swordtails and 4 small angels. Better than under-filtered though by all means

Hi all

My 6x2x21/2 is currently running a 3' sump with 500 bio-cubes and 20 rolls of gutter guard in it and the sump pump is a Resun King 4 running 1400 gallons per hour and a Otto 750N. My other tanks are all running internal pumps.

I use lots of different filters. I tend not to use UGF or RUGF, although I have a couple of them. I overfilter all tanks, and I almost always have two or more filters per tank. I try to separate mechanical and biofiltration.

For smaller tanks, I tend to use HOBs, mostly Emperors or Penguins, although I have a few AquaClears and a Whisper or two (that won't be replaced when they die). Larger tanks generally have one or more Eheim canister packed as bio-only, with mechanical filtration provided either by HOT Magnums or a variety of internal filters. I have an Eheim 2229 wet/dry on my 180, but I think it's pretty much overkill for most tanks.

HTH,
Jim
