Hey everyone,
I'm planning a trip to an aquarium in the near future and I was trying to get some input on where a good place to go to would be. So i was just wondering where your favorite aquarium is, thanks.
 
Baltimore

I've been to the Monterey, the Chicago, Boston, and Baltimore aquariums.


I personally enjoyed the Baltimore one the most cause they had a nice variety of both saltwater and freshwater fish. The Monterey one was hyped up when I went so it was kinda dissapointing in my opinion.

Now that I think about it, I've been to a lot of aquariums!
 
I've been to Monterey Bay, Boston, and Chicago. In my opinion, John J. Shedd Aquarium, in Chicago, is the best. They just recently opened a 400,000 gallon shark tank. It's undergound, with 15 foot high walls that are made out of 4 " acrilic. I think they have 15 different species of sharks in it. It's amazing. Also, they have a circular 100,000 gallon reef tank. Daily, divers go in and hand feed the fish and talk to you through an underwater microphone...it's one of the best things I've seen in my life.
 
Heh... These things change with time...

I remember Monteray as being much more interesting when I went there 15-16 years ago than Chicago when I went there, maybe 12 years ago... I think Chicago might have been expanding or something, though.
 
not the niagara falls aquarium... stupid buffalo area, on the bright side we are building a new one in niagara falls new york and canada right across the falls from eachother hopefully they will be cool. i doubt it though, we suck.
