i have a freshwater community aqarium. within the past few days i have noticed a white colored worm less than an inch long. i fear this may be a parasite. if anyone knows what this worm thing might be, please help me out. thank u very much!!:sad

sounds like a round worm or similar nematode. Some are harmless but others are parasitic and lives in the digestive track of fishes and shrimps. I'd get rid of it just in case.
