How can I stop My two Socolofi from digging in the sand under the rocks??
I'm afraid the rocks may fall on them???

You can't stop them from digging, thats what cichlids do. To prevent the rocks from falling you are supposed to put egg crate down under the rocks and sand. That way the rocks sit on teh egg crate and not the glass and the fish can't dig under the egg crate. I have this in my african tank(but mine has gravel) and it works great. The fish can dig all they want and they can't topple the rocks.
Sicne you tank is already set up. If you only have a few rocks take them out and lay some egg crate down. Or try placing the rocks directly on the glass not on the sand. Whatever you do is going to involve taking out some rocks to fix the problem.
