What would be a good diet to feed a 9" orange pike?
He eats pellets and 1" feeders but i'm worried
about ich and the lfs's diseased water.

Since they are carnivourous I would try blood worms, krill, beef heart, shrimp.... anything meaty. Maybe even those sinking carnivore wafers. I wouldn't feed it feeders that may be diseased though.

thx
Just be careful with any live foods as pikes easily get hole-in-the-head. It can be cured but there will always be the scar. Make sure you do frequent water changes too.
Mine gets a diet of both cichlid staple and cichlid gold pellets, freeze dried krill, live blood worms and the occassional extra cichlid fry (whatever I have that's "overbreeding" at the moment). ;)
