Hi,
I have a 100 gallon aquarium and have been slowly losing fish. My guess at this point is that the pleco is attacking the other fish. The first casualty was a catfish that I found a couple of days ago. He looked like something took a bite out of his back. I ended up euthanizing the catfish. A day later, I found a neon floating around with no head. And today, I found another catfish with his face missing. There are only two fish in my tank that have mouths big enough to inflict the kind of damage I have seen. It is either a pleco or a gold gourami. Has anyone seen this kind of behavior? I thought Plecos were herbivores?
