man I was aranging my tank and planting a new sword when I noticed that these fan shaped wispy green plants were growing out of my artificial rock arch. is this just some weird algea formation? is it possible for algea to take a 3-d shape like that? either way it is great to see something growing in my tank that i didn't plant myself.

maybe it was a little baby piece of hornwort? I know I found one in a bag of plants I got from my lfs.

That's really weird, I just came home after a 6 day rd trip, and found two little wisps growing off of one of my slate pieces. I figured it was some kind of algea, but wasn't sure because I just did a 4 day blackout this week to kill off algea and BGA. I hope I didn't just destry two free plants. Do you have a picture
