Convict in community tank

depends on what size tank, but if the convicts are a M/F pair then they could be VERY mean in your tank. I have a pair in my 55g tank, they try and get rowdy with my exodon's but they dont put up with it.

They work great in a lage community setup. In my 220gallon tank I have a striped male, a pink female, and a marbled female convict.
The other fish in the tank are an 11" male synspilum, a 7" male Escondido carpintis, a 6" male caqauatia spectabalis, and a 6" male Geophagus Red-Headed tapajos. Together I get every colro in the rainbow and a alot of movent in the tank.

In a small tank a breeding pair can be a terror. My friend's 40 gallon tank has to have a divder or the male will kill everyone else.
