what would be best placement of mushroom coral?

just picked up a piece of rock with around 8 of them...

there is also some other cool stuff on this small piece, a living thing that reminds me of a holiday ribbon that changes/reflects different colors depending on the light and angle....It looks like a bunch of tiny sticks protruding out of the rock and I watched it with a magnifying lens and watches it pull itself together and in a bit a few times, and a feather duster too...

but about the mushroom coral on top close to the lights midway or lower down, I dont want to freak it out or stress it out.

As far as I know....mushrooms do well under any lighting source, current...and so on. I think you can choose a place where they will look the best wihtout any concern.
But.....im not an expert so let somebody else give his/her opinion.
 
i have some brown mushrooms that do great no matter where they are. but my purple mushroom didnt do that well higher up in the tank. now that its a little lower it is doing great also.
