Getting rid of Ich.

When my Oscar had Ick, I turned the temp. up to 82F. Make sure that your angel can handle that temp.
Also add some aquarium salt to the water as well. And do frequent water changes with gravel vaccuming to make sure any cysts are removed from the tank.

Oh, also an important note:

Do not raise the temperature more than 2 degrees at a time. If the temperature goes up too rapidly, it will stress your fish and cause more problems.

I recently found Ich on an Angelfish of mine and was wondering how do you get rid of it quickly before it spreads to any other fish?
i raise my temp to 82F and add the medication called Clout. it works pretty quickly but does turn your silicone sealant a bluish colour.

You need to raise the temp to 86F to kill off ich. Then add some salt (any salt will do as long as it is NaCl) at a max of 1 tbsp per gallon of water. Do this slowly over a few days using water changes. Always dissolve the salt in water before adding it to the tank. After the ich has been gone for 3 weeks then lower the temp and reduce the salt in the tank by doing water changes.

Remeber to never add salt to the tank in top off water. Always add salted water after removing older salted water fisrt. And do more water changes ove rthe next few weeks. Daily would be best as the heat levels will reduce the oxygen in the tank.

medicating with salt takes too long. The fish will be dead. When i used Clout ich was gone in 24 hrs

Wow that was a silly statement. When your ich was gone in 24 hours all that was gone was the visible part on the fish. Not the free swimming bit or the cysts in the rocks. You will just have more ich over and over again if you don't do a full treatment for 2-3 weeks.

And if your fish are dying from ich in 24 hours then you are doing something really wrong.
