ok, here's what im wanting to do and have gotten the supplies for next time my cories lay eggs. i got a small pump and airstone.
and if i get some eggs again im going to put them in a bowl with the airstone. anyway, someone said on here you need to put a few drops of meth blue. went to my lfs and they dont have that. only thing i found was maroxy by mardel which treats fungal infection of fish and eggs. is that ok?

I'm no expert, but Mardel makes good products, and if it says it treats fungus on eggs, that's what you're looking for.
Sure hope you get eggs again - just the thought of baby corys... awww! :D

Yikes, stay away from the meth blue! You will always lose a few eggs to fungus but if you remove them it shouldn't be too much of a problem if you catch it in time. I've always had the most luck by keeping an airstone close enough to the eggs to keep a constant flow of water over them. Also, keeping that tank absolutely clean is a must. I never have used the egg protectant stuff. Probably never will since I'm more of a naturalist. To each their own though. ;)
