Hey I need some help /advice..

I found an awesome tank at wal-mart they are moving to a new super center so all there aquarium stuff was up for grabs.. I got an awesome 35x12x12 tank for 20 bucks...

alot of them have sold as well as there larger ones and the smaller ones.... tonight I went and was glad to see no one in the pet dept... I opened the door and looked in the old fish room.. I looked under the sink and noticed there is a huge pump still attached to the pluming and there is also a canister filter.
This was the sole unit used to pump and cycle all of there display tanks... I would guess it was a HUGE amount of water..
all the pipe work was made from pvc piping from tnak to tank.. anyways. I asked one of the guys I know at the store and he told me to just call the store manager and set up a deal with him...
he is sure I could get it pretty cheap that no one has inquired about the filtration unit only the individual tanks...

I am wondering if this is something I might hsould be intrested in... I couldn't tell what brands either was.. It was working until they day they turned it off..

The pump would probly be WAY to big for just my one tank... but you think I should grab it anyways..... and use the filter for my tank?

I don't think I need this stuff but if the price is right why not.. how much you think I should even offer for the stuff.

How are you going to set the new tank up? A large pump would be good if you wanted a sump in your basement for a tank on the main floor, but a huge pump on a small tank, without the head to slow it down, could be too much--you'd have to have lots of piping inside the tank to spread out the return water so there wasn't a blast from a single pipe.

As for price--can't say much without knowing brand and size, sorry!

just wondering

I was hopeing maybe I could get these fairly cheap and possibly sell them.. I'm not sure how much of a damand there might be...
I just hate to see it thrown away.. heck it ran atleast 20 diffren't
tanks at the same time.
