what is this fish?

hi all
my daughter found a fish she wanted in her tank so we picked it up.... it was sold as a "goldfish" but i am not convinced that this is what it is. they have the same body shape as a common small sized goldfish, aprox. 4 cm long, tummys are silver/white and back is silver/grey (alot darker than the tummy).... is it possible these really are goldfish? they were bought at wallmart so i dont really trust that they knew what they were.

she also wants some angel fish but not sure if i should be putting these in the same tank as yet.

thanks for the advice... i have picked up the angle fish my daughter wanted but they are in another tank... any suggestions as to what to put with them?

oh and the "goldfish" are now slowly turning an orange color after having been on better quality food for the past month so i am more convinced now that that is what i got
