why are potters angels so hard to keep. I really want one, but only if im sure it will survive.

I've read they need very high water quality(whatever that means) and they also are very difficult to adapt to new water conditions.

Potter's angelfish (Centropyge potteri) is not considered a hard angel to keep. It is considered a hardy angel by most.

Agreed. Potter's are hardy, and typically not as tough to get eating as many other angels. They will thrive on a good variety of foods, especially an angel formula that contains some sponge in addition to algaes and some meats.
Where did you hear that they were difficult?
