i would like a type of cichlid that is similar in temperament as a ram and max 4 in long any ideas?

keyhole cichlids seem popular to go with rams. any of the apistogramma's, bolivian rams, even kribs are sometimes recommended with rams. Kyle

yeah I gotta say you should go for kribensis. they arent all too aggressive, although now that mine have a batch of babies, they are a bit temperamental, they are very interesting for behavior. my only aggression casualtys from them were angelfish that tried to eat baies and were too slow to escape the attack.

uh i saw this one fish in a magazine *wrecks room looking threw old mags*
its called Thorichthbys aureus any one knwo any thing bout that fish it looks awsome its a relative of the fire mouth but dosnt haver the red instead it has blue spekcs all over
